Threaded capabilities are enabled for your organization by Threaded—there is no in-app self-serve checkout or subscriptions page. A Threaded representative works with you on which modules and usage limits you need, then enables them for your organization.

Prospective customers begin by setting up a meeting with Threaded. We learn about your operation, recommend the right capabilities, and provision access for your organization. Accounts are not available through self-service signup.
Owners can review organization details and current usage limits under Admin. AI usage history is available under Admin > Usage.
#Capability packages
Threaded is sold in packages that match how teams grow on the platform. Exact entitlements for your organization are set by Threaded; the summaries below describe typical packaging.
#Work-instruction foundation
Foundational access can be configured for individual process engineers or teams adopting Threaded, and can include:
- Work Instructions — Instructions Library with folders, procedures, steps, and the canvas editor
- The Map — org-level value stream map
- Process Planning — line balancing, Groups, and takt time
- Parts and Tools — org-wide catalogs linked into work instructions
- Training — operator sign-off matrix for published Work Instructions
- Issues — action tracking across your organization
- AI-assisted authoring
- Media library
#Collaboration and production controls
For teams actively building, reviewing, and running production from Threaded, typical additions include:
- Version Control — formal Review and Publish workflow for Work Instructions (Diff view, optional approval, audit trail) and Map commit publishing
- Process CI quality checks from the Work Instruction Review tab, including checks configured as required before publishing
- Team collaboration with additional Editors and Operators; read-only operator access when Operator Mode is enabled
- Expanded AI usage, with higher limits available as needed
#Transform / enterprise partnership
For larger organizations with more complex needs, Threaded can also include:
- Migration of existing documentation into Threaded
- Connections to other systems and factory data sources
- Priority support and hands-on transformation partnership

Billing is handled outside the product with your Threaded representative. There is no self-serve payment method or plan upgrade flow in the app.
