Work instructions and process planning get clearer versioning, optional publish approvals, and independent saves—with new ways to manage published instructions and tag parts and tools in procedure steps.
Work instruction approvals: Organizations can require a reviewer to approve a draft before it can be published; assign reviewers and track approval status on the draft.
Clearer version states: Draft, published, and archived replace the old “latest” flag; banners on deprecated or archived versions help you jump back to the current published instruction.
Manage published instructions: Deprecate instructions you no longer use, bring them back, restore an older version into a new draft, or duplicate a published instruction into a new one.
@Mentions in work instructions: Tag V2 parts and tools in procedure steps with quantity and unit of measure; a sidebar rollup totals parts and tools across the procedure.
Process planning save and history: Save process planning work on its own and browse past saves in a history drawer—separate from publishing the MAP Map.
